Register for an Account

1. Click on the "Register" link at the top right corner of the website to register for an account.
2. Check your email to find the link to confirm your account.
3. Once your account is confirmed, you will have full access to the content and courses available on the OIC Education website.

Enroll in Courses

There are a couple of ways to enroll in courses, webcasts and podcasts, depending on your preferences. We encourage you to enroll in the MyPath program. MyPath is a tool that will assess your options knowledge and place you into a customized learning track on the OIC Education website. If you are uncertain of where you should start, MyPath can assist in creating an options educational path for you.

If you prefer to take individual courses at your leisure, you can enroll in any course at any time by using the Course Catalog.

Enroll using MyPath

1. Click on the "MyPath" link in the top navigation of the website.
2. In order to enroll in courses using MyPath, you must first take a brief assessment that will place you into a customized learning track based on your options knowledge. Click on the "Take the Assessment Now!" button to begin the assessment.
3. Answer the assessment questions to the best of your knowledge, then click "Submit all and finish" at the bottom of the page.
4. Based on your answers, MyPath places you in the appropriate learning track. You can now view the track curriculum on the MyPath page.
5. All of the required courses from your MyPath track are added to the MyCourses area. Click on the "MyCourses" link in the top navigation of the website to view these courses. Click on the course link to begin.

Enroll using the Course Catalog

1. Click on the "Course Catalog" link in the top navigation of the website.
2. Once within the Course Catalog, you can choose to view any of the following:
   • All Resources - Contains a list of all available courses and electives.
   • Fundamental I - Contains a list of courses and electives at the Fundamental I level.
   • Fundamental II - Contains a list of courses and electives at the Fundamental II level.
   • Intermediate - Contains a list of courses and electives at the Intermediate level.
   • Advanced - Contains a list of courses and electives at the Advanced level.
   • Podcasts - Contains a list of all podcasts available, separated by level.
   • Webcasts - Contains a list of all webcasts available, separated by level.
3. For each course or elective, you can view:
• Course Description - Click on the course name to view a short description.
• Syllabus - With the course description expanded, click on the "View Syllabus" link to view the course syllabus in detail.
4. Click on the "Enroll" link next to the course or elective to enroll.
5. Once enrolled, you are brought to the course landing page where you can view:
• Course Objective
• Who Should Take This Course
• Prerequisite
• Course Description
• Course Chapters
• Course Resources
• "View Course Now" button to start the course.
6. All of your enrolled courses are added to the MyCourses area, accessible by clicking on the "MyCourses" link at the top navigation of the website.
